Avinet staff and aviation customers joined together in February for the biennial Air Maestro User Conference. The 2019 Air Maestro Conference, held at the Mayfair Hotel in Adelaide, was a successful 2 day event, attracting over 40 aviation operators and personnel from within Australia and abroad.

Guests had the opportunity to attend beginner and advanced training, view current and upcoming product releases, watch an updated Flight and Duty App demonstration and join in on an interactive user forum where questions were encouraged. Finishing day 1 on a high note, customers also enjoyed a complimentary social dinner atop the acclaimed Hennessy Rooftop Bar onsite at the Mayfair Hotel.

For the first time, Avinet also presented a new Air Maestro topic to attendees which demonstrates how the software tracks UAV and Fuel Burn Requirements. As a growing sector in the industry, Avinet has allocated more resources to managing RPAS/drone operations and will continue to extend on this in future releases.

Directly inspired by customer feedback, the conference is a unique opportunity for Air Maestro users in addition to Avinet developers, support and management personnel to help shape the future direction of Air Maestro in a relaxed and supportive environment. The Conference is about providing current and prospective customers with comprehensive training to ensure they are receiving the maximum potential from Air Maestro. It is also a good opportunity to get to know customers and to help meet their needs for continual improvements to the software.

Key aims of the 2019 Air Maestro Conference include:

  • Revitalise or advance customer’s Air Maestro knowledge in a supportive environment
  • Alert attendees about future product developments
  • Answer customer questions in a one-to-one environment
  • Connect the Avinet team to other Air Maestro users
  • Network and build relationships with industry peers

If you were unable to attend the 2019 Air Maestro Conference, rest assured the Avinet team will return for what will be their seventh event. Please ensure you visit the Air Maestro Conference page here for updates and announcements on its return. The Avinet team look forward to welcoming customers to join us once again in 2021.
