Welcome to our regular Avinet newsletter where our aim is to keep you up-to-date on the latest developments to the Air Maestro system and related information from customers and team.
From the Development Team
Since our last newsletter, we have released version 2.4 of Air Maestro which addressed a number of enhancements and new features, brought to our attention by your continual feedback. We appreciate the time you take to make suggestions about our product and we log, review and consider each suggestion. We then plan our upgrades using a combination of considerations which in turn will provide overall product improvements for our customer base.
A summary of enhancements which were released in version 2.4 were made to the following core system modules:
- Document Library & Alerts
- Personnel Details
- FAID® and FAID2®
- Safety & Risk Register
- Timesheet Sign-off and Logging
- Prior Sleep Wake Model
- Compliance Report
Global Expansion Update
Our customer base has expanded further and now includes the following countries. These countries are serviced by our datacentres located in Australia and the UK.
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Papua New Guinea
- Angola
- United Kingdom
We have also had significant interest from South Africa, Hong Kong and Canada.
To meet this increasing demand we have expanded our alliance partner network beyond the UK and we have now established partners in South Africa, Hong Kong and USA.
Air Maestro (version 2.5) is planned to be released to customers in July 2010. This is a small release focused on a handful of specific changes. We are also working in parallel on a redesign of the Safety Management System which will be released later in 2010. The Upcoming Enhancements section briefly covers the improvements in these releases.
Australian Datacentre Upgrades
Our IT infrastructure team has been diligently working on the systems which deliver Air Maestro. They've been implementing new technology to further increase system capacity, improve performance and enhance the disaster recovery and backup systems already in place. Over the next few months additional changes will be made to continue enhancing the performance and delivery of services to our customers.
